Today was a good day, despite the fact that I had to reschedule my shoot because of all the snow we had. I spent the day with the family. (Like most days)
Dad was in old people story telling mode. He told me and mom that he found a dead baby once. He said he was under his neighbors porch playing in the dirt and he found a dead baby. So he went to the police department and told them. From what he recalls from over hearing the grown ups talk the lady had the baby in the bathroom and threw it out the window. Then an animal had drug it under the porch. They lived near a naval base so he guesses that the lady could have been a prostitute. But the whole thing is just bizarre! Even more bizarre he said a few weeks later there was another one found. Really just blows my mind. If it had been me I would have been traumatized. I probably would still be in therapy today. I guess it goes to shows people from the old days were tougher! Thank God times have changed though. I mean, just throwing your newborn out the window??? INSANE!

The roads were horrible today and there were several wrecks. A school bus in Ritchie County wrecked on route 18. They took the bus driver to the hospital but she's fine. All the kids were fine even though some of them had bloody noses and bruises. Whats sad is that this could have been avoided if they had just sent the kids home when the mess of snow started instead of waiting until the roads were horrible! There also was a semi that wrecked on route 50 near bear run. All over facebook there was reports of wrecks. Luckily I've not heard of any one being killed. That's a def. plus!
I know I said today was a good day then all of this is bad new? But I guess I'm looking at it in a way that everyone has come out alright. Except for that poor little baby. Nickie came up to tan tonight and she decided she wanted to give me a snookie make over. She's insane and I can't believe I let her talk me into it but I did. Now I'm getting ready to tan and then its off to sleep for me! But this has been 26 days in pictures!!!
