The Morning After

This blog is also a day late! I fell asleep so early last night and had the strangest dreams.

Happy Birthday to my brother in law Rick! I haven't got to see him in person yet but I'm sure he had a birthday budlite!

When I first woke up and checked my facebook I was really upset! A good friend of mine posted photographs of a black eye her boyfriend had given her. I was so angry after seeing these pictures I had to remind myself that the bible says tho shalt not kill! It must not have been a coincidence that the television was playing pastor prince. So I decided on that note to go back to sleep for a while and get up on the right side of the bed. I've still not heard anything further from my friend so I hope she is OK and that the cowardly little boy is in jail.

It was a boring sort of day. I spent most of the day decorating things for Nelia's wedding. Then I found other ways to amuse myself while being home alone in a big house. I even chocked a chicken! Good times.

I guess the highlight of my day was watching the movie salt which was awesome! I don't usually get excited about action movies but it's probably one of the best action movies I've seen. Very well thought out.

Other then this, Nelia and I went out and checked out the church she's getting married at. I have a feeling I'm going to be using the flash a lot! It's pretty small and dark. We'll make it happen though.

*The things I want to remember about this day: Birds & Fish died in Arkansas; Kristen's black eye and how it shocked me into remember domestic violense is real and it does happen to people I know; Even though everything can't be peachy we have to do our best to go on and make the best of bad situations! Sometimes that requires standing up and fighting back!
